Encouraged by the positivity surrounding Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign (supported by the Team Pride coalition that includes Sky Sports), Ryan Atkin was interviewed about his experiences as a referee to date, the benefits of now being open about his sexuality and his hopes for the future. I was more than happy to lend my support to this campaign via the linesman illustration you can see below, which was used on the Sky Sports website and across their social media channels.
