A once-in-a-lifetime commission for the BBC, where I was tasked with creating a portrait for each of the 30 man squad for the 2014 Brazil World Cup. Each piece was then hand signed by the players during their final training camp in England. The images were used throughout the BBC’s coverage, including trailers and interviews for Match of the Day & MOTD Kickabout.
The artwork was seen by over 15 million people in the UK alone (during England vs Italy) and remains my highest profile job to date. Click the image below to watch the England stars discuss their portraits (video opens in a separate tab).
