The 5th annual Kicking & Screening Soccer Film Festival (2013), was hosted at the (sadly now closed) Varick Room in downtown NYC. During this four day event, K+S presented a soccer-art show in partnership with the Futbol Artist Network, which looked to showcase artwork from around the world, depicting the many sides of the beautiful game.
My own submission was an Alexi Lalas illustration which was later endorsed by the man himself (see photos below). It went on to become a limited edition run of 22 prints (his USMNT squad number), with each one individually hand-signed by the MLS Hall of Famer.
